HOME MADE GRANOLA

You’ve probably heard about how breakfast is the most important meal of the day a lot, so no lesions on this field.  In spirit of healthier lifestyle I am trying to start day earlier and in a healthier way. So lately this delicious granola is on my menu everyday. I eat it with yogurt and some fruit. Perfect breakfast, leaves you full, but not in the I-can’t-move way full  and makes your mornings a little better ( I am a total NON morning person, breakfast is the only good thing in the morning). I guarantee that you will love this healthy bowl.

  You will need:

  • Rolled Oats (2 cups)
  • Almonds (1/2 cup)
  • Pumpkin seeds (a handful)
  • Cocoa (1 table spoon)
  • Salt (1/4 tea spoon)
  • Cinnamon (3/4 tea spoon)
  • Sunflower seeds (a handful)
  • Flax seeds (a handful)
  • Dates ( 1/2 cup)
  • Maple syrup (1/4 cup)
  • Olive oil (1/4)
  • Honey ( 2 table spoons)

Preheat the oven to 150°C ( 300°F). Chop almonds and pumpkin seeds, and mix all the ingredients (except dates).  Spread the mixture on baking tray, and don’t forget to put baking paper on, otherwise you will get a big big mess! Bake for 30 minutes (don’t use ventilator on your oven- I learned that the hard way haha) and stir  3 times. At the end add chopped dates and put it in to the cute jar! So simple and healthy, but delicious!

Hope you’ll like it!

Have a lovely day!

Sasha
